Senior Vice President, Communications

Jennifer M. Whitlow is senior vice president of Communications for Lockheed Martin Corporation. She leads global communications strategies and activities across the four business areas and internationally, and provides strategic communications counsel to the corporation’s senior executives.

Ms. Whitlow’s responsibilities include overseeing the corporation’s media relations, executive and employee communications, marketing communications, community relations and visual communications strategies and programs. Additionally, Ms. Whitlow directs issues management and crisis communications, and leads philanthropy initiatives that enhance the corporation’s reputation.

Ms. Whitlow is a seasoned communications leader with more than 20 years of industry and functional experience. She joined Lockheed Martin in 2010 and previously served as the corporation’s vice president, Worldwide Media Relations and chief spokesperson, and director of F-35 communications. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, she held leadership roles of increasing responsibilities with United Technologies Corporation, Cessna Aircraft Company and Jeppesen, a subsidiary of Boeing.

Ms. Whitlow holds a Bachelor of Science in aviation business administration and aviation safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
