Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin UK

Peter Ruddock has been the Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin UK since January 2016.

Peter joined Lockheed Martin in 2011 as the Business Development Director for Lockheed Martin UK. In this role, he was responsible for the development and execution of strategies to grow the business and strengthen customer relationships.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr Ruddock successfully completed fifteen different appointments in the Royal Air Force before leaving the Service, as an Air Marshal (3-star). In recognition of his exceptional service, Peter was made a Companion of the Order of the Bath (CB) in 2011, a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 2001 and awarded the US Legion of Merit (officer class) in 2004 for outstanding leadership on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan during 2002.

Vice President and Managing Director of Lockheed Martin UK-Ampthill

Alan Lines was appointed Vice President and Managing Director of LMUK Ampthill in 2013. Alan is also a member of the Lockheed Martin UK Board of Directors.

Alan joined Lockheed Martin as the Operations Director for the Ampthill business responsible for Manufacturing, Subcontracts Programme Management, Procurement, Procurement and the site Facilities.

Prior to joining the Corporation, Alan held a number of positions at board level in the defence and automotive industry, running manufacturing operations in the UK, United States and in Sweden.

Paul Livingston

Vice President and General Manager, LMUK Integrated Systems

Paul Livingston was appointed Vice President and Managing Director for Lockheed Martin UK – Integrated Systems (LMUK IS) in January 2017. 

Paul began his career as an engineering apprentice working in civil and military simulation and has since spent more than thirty years in the aerospace sector.

Since joining Lockheed Martin, Paul has held a number of roles across the global corporation. He was a Director for Lockheed Marin Aeronautics responsible for liaising with the UK customer for F-35 and C-130J and led the business development activity for Ascent during the competitive phase of the programme.

In 2012, Paul was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training and following that role, Paul was the Managing Director for Ascent Flight Training, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Babcock which is delivering the UK Military Flying Training System.

Managing Director Lockheed Martin UK Strategic Systems

As Managing Director of Lockheed Martin UK Strategic Systems, Mike oversees Lockheed Martin’s operations at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde, and in Bristol, Barrow-in-Furness, and Plymouth.

Mike joined Lockheed Martin UK in November 2014 as Head of Programmes Senior Manager where he was responsible for delivering all operational and technical aspects of Lockheed Martin’s In Service Support contract with the Royal Navy.

Before joining Lockheed Martin, Mike served 28 years in the Royal Navy.  As a career submariner, he deployed on a number of Royal Navy submarines, becoming a specialist in both weapons and sonar.  Mike also spent time working on exchange with the US Navy in Washington DC before returning to a senior role at the Royal Naval Armaments Depot at Coulport.

Kirsty Edwins
Kirsty Edwins
Human Resources Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Kirsty Edwins was appointed the Director of Human Resources for Europe, Middle East and Africa in January 2018.

Kirsty is accountable for delivery of the Human Capital Strategy and she and her team are responsible for 4,300 Lockheed Martin employees based in 15 countries within the EMEA region.

Prior to this role, Kirsty was the Head of Human Resources for Lockheed Martin UK – Ampthill where she led the Human Resource function for the site’s 900 employees.

Kirsty joined Lockheed Martin UK in June 2008 having previously worked in the retail sector. She has worked on a wide range of subjects including training, resourcing, employee relations and employee engagement.
